Step-by-Step Guide for WordPress Integration with Assist AI

Step 1: Install the WordPress REST API Authentication Plugin

Login to WordPress Admin:

Access your WordPress admin dashboard using your credentials.

Navigate to Plugins:

Go to ‘Plugins’ in the WordPress dashboard and click on ‘Add New’.

Search for the Plugin:

Use the search bar to find ‘WordPress REST API Authentication’.

Install and Activate:

Click on ‘Install Now’, then ‘Activate’ to add the plugin.

Step 2: Plugin Configuration

Activate JWT Authentication:

After plugin activation, ensure JWT Authentication is enabled in settings. Two-factor authentication must be disabled on your WordPress site.

Once the installation is complete, follow the steps below from the customisation menu and then press the finish button.

Click on JWT Authentication here

Click next here

Add in your WordPress login details here once done click finish
 
Permalink Settings:

Go to Settings -> Permalinks and choose the ‘postname’ option.

Step 3: Integrate Assist AI with WordPress

Open Integrations Menu:

A new ‘Integrations’ menu should be visible on your dashboard.

Add WordPress Credentials:

Follow the instructions on the Integrations page. Enter your WordPress Domain, Username, and Password to complete the setup.

Step 5: Publish Content from Assist AI to WordPress

Access Documents Page:

Within Assist AI, navigate to your documents page.

Initiate Publishing:

Locate the ‘Publish’ button at the top right of the screen and click it to start publishing your document to WordPress.
